2017 MTB Worlds Downhill Timed Sessions – Canada’s Iles 1st, Verbeeck 6th, Wallace 22nd

September 07, 2017 (Cairns, Australia) – Defending Junior Men’s world champ, Finnley Iles, led the Canadian charge topping the Junior Men’s seeding run at the DHI Worlds in Cairns, Australia. Vaea Verbeeck finished 6th in the Elite Women’s field with fellow Canuck Miranda Miller in 10th as Tahnee Seagrave (Great Britain) was the fastest down the mountain. Canada’s Mark Wallace placed 22nd in the Elite Men’s run as Michael Hannah (Australia) had the best time with Loic Bruni (France) 2nd and Jack Moir (Australia) 3rd.
