December 21, 2017 (Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures, QC) – Thanks to the participation of the many riders of the 2017 Granfondo Garneau-Quebecor and Minifondo, is proud to present a check for $70,123 to the Little Brothers, an organization committed to relieving isolation and loneliness among the elderly. Since its creation in 2009, all the profits of the event have been donated to the Little Brothers and to this day, over $530,000 have been raised.

Caroline Sauriol, General Manager of the Little Brothers organization, thanks all the participants of the 2017 Granfondo Garneau-Quebecor from the bottom of her heart: “It is a great honor to receive once again this year such a wonderful gift, which will allow the lonely elderly of the Quebec region to enjoy affection and the outdoors at the Paul-Garneau cabin. All these cyclists who give time and effort to help us pull elders from their isolation, it’s really fantastic! A thousand times thank you to all these riders, and even more to Mr. Garneau and his team for organizing this amazing event for our elders!”

Registration is now open for the 2018 edition of the Granfondo Garneau-Quebecor, while registration for the 2018 Minifondo will open at the beginning of the year.
