October 09, 2016 (Doha, Qatar) – Etixx-QuickStep was unstoppable in the 40km Men’s Team Time Trial relegating BMC Racing, the defending champs, to second with Orica – BikeExhange and Canada’s Svein Tuft in the bronze medal position. This was Tuft’s third TTT medal and fourth career medal at Worlds winning ITT silver in 2008.

Fellow Canadian Hugo Houle and his AG2R La Mondiale team finished 11th while the Cycling Academy Team with former national road champ, Guillaume Boivin, was 12th.
