December 30, 2014 (London, ON) – The Forest City Velodrome is pleased to announce that the 2015 FCV Youth Championships p/b MEC are scheduled for Thursday January 1st. Approximately 60+ Youth racers will be testing their legs. The competition is open to all U19 racers. Track Records will be on the line. Please find the event time table for the 2015 FCV Youth Championships below.

• 11am: FCV doors open (setup of equipment & registration)
• 11:30am: registration opens for all categories.
• Noon: track opens for warm up.
• 1pm: Championship event begins… U11… Standing start lap.
• Event Order: standing start lap, Flying 500m, 1 or 2km TT (depending on age), Flying lap, standing start 500m

Entry Fee: $20.00
Who can race: Any member of a registered club/team in Ontario

Age Categories (based on athlete’s age on Dec. 31, 2015):

• Under 19 (boys & Girls)
• Under 17 (Boys & Girls)
• Under 15 (Boys & Girls)
• Under 13 (Boys & Girls)
• Under 11 (Boys & Girls)

The Omnium style event will include 5 events, Standing Start Lap, Flying Lap, Standing start 500m, flying 500m and standing start Kilo/2Km (depending on age).

The competition will be open to all U19 riders. We recommend you apply for your 2015 UCI License or Citizen’s Permit in early December.
