June 17, 2014 – Registration is now open for the 2014 Ontario Provincial Road Race Championships, taking place on Saturday July 26, 2014. The St. Catharines Cycling Club is proud to host these championships on a course brand new to the Ontario calendar, situated on the Niagara Escarpment in Lincoln.

It features gently rolling farm roads and an extended false flat ascent before a fast run in to a wide sprint finish. Do not be deceived by the apparent lack of elevation as the rollers along with typical crosswinds will make for challenging races and worthy champions.

Race entry includes a catered lunch and additional food will be available to purchase for friends and family. All food sales benefit the youth group at Tintern Church of Christ who have been extremely supportive hosts of the race.

This event is Pre Registration only. Register online here by midnight July 23, 2014.

Note that this is not the Provincial Championships for U19 men as it conflicts with Tour de l’Abitibi. U19 Men will contest their Provincial Championships at the Lake of Bays RR on August 24.
