July 24, 2012 – The 2012 Downhill Canada Cup Finals will be held on July 29 in Panorama, British Columbia. The Top downhillers in the country will race against the clock to win the ultimate Canada Cup title. Miranda Miller is the current leader in the women’s elite standings, while Australian rider Mitchell Delfs is leading the men’s standings.

The Canada Cup is the top coordinated domestic racing series in Canada which provides athletes an outlet for preparation for national and international events while encouraging participation from all ages and ability levels. The downhill course will wind its way through Insanity and Quadzilla.

Riders are asked to register today for a better race experience HERE. Registration closes on July 25 at 23h30 pm (MST), but riders are asked to register at their earliest convenience. All online & on-site registrations will have a $10 late fee applied if received after July 25, 2012 (23h30 MST).

On-site registration for the Junior Expert/Elite will be accepted before Thursday July 26, 2012 (17h00 MST). A $50 late registration fee will be applied to all late registrations as per the Canada Cup rules.

Riders can pre-purchase tickets for the Race Day Barbecue through the online registration for $9. On-site BBQ tickets will also be available at $12.
