September 01, 2011 (Champery, Switzerland) – Here are some photos from yesterday’s opening events at the 2011 UCI MTB World Championships. France took the win in the Team Relay, with Canada posting a seventh-place finish. Host country Switzerland claimed gold in the Junior Women’s race, courtesy of a storming young Linda Indergand (Switzerland). Frederique Trudel (Canada) was the top Canuck in 12th place.
