July 2, 2010 (Vancouver, BC) – Svein Tuft (Garmin/Transitions) won the elite men’s race at the 2010 Union Securities Yaletown Grand Prix on July 1st in an impressive display of speed and strength as he lapped the field. Andrew Pinfold (United Healthcare pb Maxxis) and Christian Meier (Garmin/Transitions) placed second and third, respectively.

The women’s race was another exciting competition, as it came down to a photo finish between Rachel McBride (Glotman-Simpson) and Leah Guloien (Total Restoration). McBride barely beat out Guloien for the win, while Leah Kirchmann (Trek-Red Truck Racing) snagged third. Full results to follow.
