January 31, 2010 (Wellington City, New Zealand) – The Trust House Classic five-stage race in New Zealand wrapped up today in Wellington City with a criterium that was officially cancelled due to extremely poor weather. Some riders still contested the event, however, and it was New Zealand’s Jack Bauer (NZl) Trust House Team who toughed it out and grabbed the win. With Stage 5 not counting towards the GC, the results after Stage 4 became the official final standings, which saw Michael Torckler (NZl) Cardno Team at the top. Canada’s Charles Dionne (Can) Fly V Australia placed 32nd overall after an impressive third-place ride in Stage 4, while Julien Fillion (Can) Litespeed Team finished 37th.
