April 11, 2010 (Guatemala City, Guatemala) – Canada’s Mikaela Kofman from Ontario placed second in the U23 women’s 25.6km race won by Laura Abril (Colombia) with Argentina’s Paula Quiros in 3rd. In the Elite women’s 32km race Alberta’s Mical Dyck claimed 5th as the USA swept the podium with Willow Koerber (USA) taking the win over Mary McConneloug in second and Heather Irmiger in 3rd. Ontario’s Amanda Sin placed 7th.
