July 2, 2010 – We’re pleased to announce the launch of Pedal’s 2010 MTB Worlds Contest in collaboration with Gestev Inc. the organizers of the event, along with our fabulous sponsors including Specialized, Pearl Izumi, Giro and Velirium. Test your MTB Worlds knowledge and be eligible to win great prizes such as official MTB Worlds merchandise, a free race entry to any Velirium amateur race, or the Grand Prize – a Specialized Epic Comp or Era Comp bike valued at $3,659.

Contestants must provide the requested information for each of five (5) photos in order to win. The first 15 entries with at least three (3) correct answers will receive a Free Race Entry to any 2010 Velirium amateur race. The first 10 entries with four (4) correct answers will receive an official 2010 MTB Worlds hat. The first five (5) entries with five (5) correct answers win an official 2010 MTB Worlds jersey. All contestants with at least three (3) correct answers are entered in the random draw for the Grand Prizes.

All contest information and rules are available via the link below. You may enter or revise your answers up until 12 midnight on July 30/10 but keep in mind that the final time stamp on any revised entries is recognized as your entry date.

The 2010 UCI Mountain Bike and Trials World Championships will be held Aug. 31-Sept. 5 on the final weekend of Velirium which runs from Aug. 14-Sept. 5.
