January 26, 2010 (Winnipeg, MB) – Come out for a day of fun in the snow… on your bike! Winnipeg’s 12th Annual Ice Bike Event takes place on Sunday, February 7 at The Forks in Winnipeg. The Kid’s Race starts at 11:30 am with Under 13, 9, and 7 categories. The Adult race begins at 12:00 noon with three different categories: Snowflake (4 km), Icicle (8km), Abominable (12 km).

It will be great fun with lots of prizes! Organizers have lots of bike swag to give away, plus Free passes to Assiniboine Athletic Club and massage therapy gift certificates from Precision Touch Massage Therapy for category winners and also as draw prizes.

Entry fees:
– Pre registration by Feb. 3: Kids $10.00, Adults $20.00
– After Feb. 3 and race day: Kids $10.00 (no change), Adults $25.00
– Race day registration and sign on: 9:00 am to 11:00 am inside The Forks near the Atrium Tower
