September 5, 2009 (Canberra, Australia) – Anais Pajot (France) has won the Junior Women’s DH final on Sunday, the last day of competion at the 2009 MTB Worlds, with team mate Julie Berteaux in second, and local rider Holly Baarspul (Australia) taking the bronze. No Canadian women competed.
In the Junior men’s race Brook Macdonald (New Zealand) takes home the gold with Shaun O’Connor (Australia) winning silver and Danny Hart (Great Britain) scoring the bronze. Tyler Allison (Canada) lead the Canadian men in 24th.
