May 2, 2008 – Starting on Tuesday May 6 at the University of British Columbia, Escape Velocity Cycling Club presents Vancouver’s most hotly contested bicycle racing of the season, the World Tuesday Night Championships. From the first Tuesday of May until the last Tuesday in August, the World Tuesday Night Championships electrify the summer evening with affordable and entertaining racing for cyclists of all levels. From novice racer to World Champion, all cyclists are welcome.
For 2008, Escape Velocity would like to extend a special invitation to the World Tuesday Night Championships to all cyclists who have never tried road racing. Cycling BC’s new Citizen Licence is a very economical means to participate in the Novice category races. If you have ever considered road racing, this is your year!
