December 9, 2008 – On Sunday December 7, 2008, at Seaview Lookoff Park Halifax Nova Scotia. The conditions were ideal for the race as it was 5 degrees and rain, which made for a very slick and sloppy course. All the categories were highly contested, and the course was packed with a very vocal crowd, spurred on by the MC, Terry Tomlin.

A few athletes from our neighboring province came to the event to test their skills against NS’s finest. Although Ryan Belliveau(NB) and Stuart Wight(NB) put on a good show, they were no match for NS’s two past cyclocross National Championship medalists, Garrett McLeod(NS) and Dustin MacBurnie(NS).
