2008 Beijing Olympic Games – Track Day 5 Full Results, Photos

August 19, 2008 (Beijing, China) – The Argentinian team of Juan Esteban Curuchet and Walter Fernando Perez took to gold on Tuesday in the Madison with Spain winning the silver and Russia the bronze as Canada’s Zach Bell and Martin Gilbert finished 12th overall.

The Women’s Sprint was won by Victoria Pendleton (Great Britain). Second place went to Anna Meares (Australia), and Shuang Guo (China) took the bronze.

In the Men’s Sprint, two Brits rode away with the gold and bronze medals: Chris Hoy (Great Britain) and Jason Kenny (Great Britain), respectively. Mickael Bourgain (France) grabbed the bronze medal.
