January 21, 2007 – Bicycle Nova Scotia is calling any interested parties with something to contribute to Road and Track Racing to a Road Committe Meeting in Halifax on January 29.

When: Monday, Jan 29th, 7pm

Where: Sport Nova Scotia- Spring Garden Rd, Halifax

Who: Interested Athlete Representative Candidates, Road Club Presidents (or representative), Chief Commissair, Event Co-Coordinator, BNS President, Prov. Chief Coach, Prov. CG Coach or Manager. Naturally, any other interested parties with something to contribute to Road and Track Racing are encouraged to attend. Overcrowding of committee meetings is seldom a problem.

Why: Agenda topics will include (but are not limited to) the following: Selection of Male and Female Athlete reps, examine strategies to ensure a pool of motivated Commissairs for 07 and beyond, discussion of timing/ finish line system, initial report on 07 event calendar.

Please note: We are in need of both male and female Athlete Reps since these positions are currently vacant. These are voting positions on the Road Committee. I welcome all interested parties to contact me beforehand to express their interest. If multiple candidates are present at the committee meeting a vote will be held to select the positions.
