– Battle for yellow leader jersey of the Men’s classification continues, Cannondale-Vredestein 1 reclaim leader jersey after winning 6th stage
– Roel Paulissen (B) and Jakob Fuglsang win stage after 3 hours 46 minutes and 34.7 seconds
– Team Bulls – Karl Platt (D)/ Stefan Sahm (D)- back on 2nd place overall, but only 11 seconds behind
– Last year’s Absa Cape Epic champion Silvio Bundi (CH) and his partner Gion Manetsch (CH) secure their first podium place (3:51.07.9) and have now climbed in the overall ranking on 3rd place
– First stage win for German Mixed team Maloja-BTS Time for Travel with Ivonne Kraft (D) and Nico Pfitzenmaier (D) — winning time 4:24.23.4
