June 24, 2006 – The world’s fastest women downhillers met at Mont-Ste-Anne, Que. yesterday to zoom through another chapter of the World Cup series. It was Sabrina Jonnier (FRA, Monster-Iron Horse-Mad Katz) who eked out the fastest time, stopping the clock at 5:25.22 minutes. Tracy Moseley (GBR, Kona-Les Gets), who finished first in the qualifier, added some padding to her World Cup lead with a second-place finish on the fast 3.2-kilometre descent. Marielle Saner (SUI, Bikepark.ch-TUI) rocketed into third.

MSA is magical for National Champion Adrienne Millar (CAN, Devinci-Daredevil), who rode off with the 2005 National Champion title here. In her World Cup run yesterday she pedaled out the best Canadian result with a 10th place. Next-best Canadian was Claire Buchar (CAN, Specialized-Rock Shox) in 16th spot. In 12th position, Buchar is the highest ranked Canuck in the overall standings.
