October 8, 2003 – Pedal just received a very happy email from Maxxis/Trek rider Kashi Leuchs regarding the recent 'unofficial' announcement that the 2006 Worlds MTB will be held in New Zealand. Reportedly England and Canada were two other locations being considered. Leuchs says it's New Zealand's third attempt to host the MTB Worlds which will be staged in Rotorua, New Zealand. Kashi wanted thank Dave Donaldson, and all those involved in making this happen. 'I know how much work it took! Yeeha!'
