February 15, 2005 – Edmonton will be hosting the 2005 World Masters Games from July 22 to July 31. It will be the largest participatory sporting event in the world with 16,000 athletes from 100 countries competing in 27 different sports!

The 2005 Games organizers will be traveling across Alberta, BC and Pacific North-West in a Regional Road Show over the next two months promoting this sports festival, increasing awareness on masters sport in general, as well as encouraging athletes to register for the 2005 World Masters Games.

This time, we will be visiting two cities in BC: Kelowna and Prince George. The Kelowna event will take place on Monday, February 28 at the Laurel Packinghouse at 7pm – download the invitation here.
