March 16th, 2004 – There is a new venue for the second round of the Downhill/4-Cross. The International Cycling Union has noted with regrets the organizer's decision to cancel the second round of the 2004 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup planned the 12th-13th June in SestriËres (Italy).

The UCI has relocated this cancelled event to a new venue which is in l'Oisans-les 2 Alpes (France). This venue was previously selected by the UCI since and met all requirements.
