August 02, 2019 (Markham, ON) – Rolling into its 18th year, Ride for Karen is a yearly cycling event that raises money to support children living with cancer. This year’s ride will take place on Sunday, August 25. Hundreds of cyclists will take to the roads for the annual cycling event that raises money to support children living with cancer.

A tribute to the life and legacy of Karen Tobias, the Ride for Karen was started by her sons in 2002. Since then, the event has raised more than $2,600,000 to help build and furnish new cancer care facilities, provide much needed resources for cancer support centres and send kids with cancer to camp. 100% of money raised goes to charities that provide programs for children with cancer and their families, such as Camp Quality, Camp Oochigeas and Camp Trillium.
