May 16, 2008 – The 10th annual Giant Bicycle Great Lake to Lake Mountain bike race is upon us. Held each year on Father’s Day (June 15th) this unique event rolls from the shores of Lake Erie through Niagara’s heartland to the shores of Lake Ontario finishing on the beach at Port Dalhousie.

This 50km point to point adventure has something for everyone, an incredible mix of singletrack, doubletrack, gravel trail, and road to satisfy all. Each year this event gathers more than 1000 cyclists to the start in Port Colborne and they are sent off in waves of 250 riders in an all out race to the finish in Port Dalhousie. Chip timing, police marshalled, bike/bus transportation, St. John’s emergency services, winners jerseys, draw prizes, catered meal on the beach as you watch your friends descend to the line – it doesn’t get much better.

Pre-reg early bird prices are until June 8th and final day to register on-line will be June 13th. June 14th registration will be available in-person only on the beach at Port Dalhousie. No day-of available.
