10th Anniversary 24 Hours of Summer Solstice
June 29, 2007 – Our 10th Anniversary 24 Hours of Summer Solstice was a tremendous success with over 2,100 competitors enjoying Canada’s largest mountain bike event! What makes the 24 Hours of Summer Solstice so special is the fantastic support that we have received over the years from the participants, sponsors, staff, volunteers and the venue. It is really tremendous when so many people can gather together for an event with the main goal being to enjoy themselves, and celebrate the sport. Congrats to all participants, and thanks to all!

10th Anniversary 24 Hours of Summer Solstice
June 20, 2007 — Chico Racing is excited to host the 10th Annual 24 Hours of Summer Solstice on June 23-24 at Albion Hills Conservation Area. We are very proud that the Summer Solstice is the most popular 24-hour mountain bike event in North America.
Over 2,200 riders race from noon Saturday to noon Sunday on this challenging 17 km mountain bike course. The teams range in size from individuals riding solo, to groups of 10, with their goal being to complete as many laps as possible over 24 hours. This first weekend of summer brings participants together for a race, but more importantly, it is a 2-day festival packed with competition, entertainment, camping and camaraderie celebrating the outdoors and the sport of mountain biking.
This event was sold out in March of 2007 for participants, but individuals are welcome to check out the event.
