September 01, 2011 (Windham, NY) – Just two short months ago, the world’s top MTB racers and many fans and supporters were in Windham, New York enjoying the excitement and festivities around the UCI MTB Windham World Cup. That beautiful little town in the Catskills and many of its residents took an unbelievable beating from Hurricane Irene earlier this week and they need your help.

Main Street in Windham is all but gone. Some of the surrounding communities are literally on the verge of being removed from the map. Many businesses and houses have been swept away by the raging waters. Several of the people responsible for putting on the World Cup – all of whom are volunteers – have lost their businesses or homes and in some cases, both.

Please consider helping out by making a donation to aid in the rebuilding of Windham.
