Win by Cycling Clean – Dope-Free Ride from Quebec City to Forestville

September 14, 2007 (Quebec City, QC) — Some 15 Quebec cyclists will ride 315km to promote dope-free cycling on September 22. Sponsored by the Quebec Cycling Federation (FQSC), the ride is organized under the slogan ” Roulez Gagnants au Naturel” – which loosely translates as “Win by Cycling Clean.” Cyclists will leave from Quebec City around 5 a.m., heading east through the hilly Charlevoix region to Forestville where they are expected to arrive some 10 hours later. This year sees the fourth edition of this event.

The cyclists expected to take part in the event are: Mathieu Bélanger-Barrette, Michel Trudel, Charles Blanchet-Lévesque, Vincent and Antoine Caron, Julien Marceau, Jonathan Pageau, Christian Fournier, Dominic Hamel, Louis-Rémy Marier, Jean-François Vennes, Julien Fillion, Styve Gagnon, Éric Maltais and organizer, Simon Thériault

The 2006 event, which featured Lyne Bessette, collected some $2,000 for sports sponsorship programs. There are no women registered for 2007.
