Tejay Van Garderen wins Stage 18 [P] Cor Vos
May 25, 2017 (Ortisei, Italy) – It was another remarkable day at the Giro as Tejay Van Garderen (USA) BMC Racing Team took home his first Grand Tour stage victory winning Stage 18 from Moena to Ortisei, 137km out-dueling Mikel Landa (Esp) Team Sky at the finish. Thibaut Pinot (Fra) FDJ claimed third and is now fourth overall.

Tom Dumoulin (Ned) Team Sunweb was assailed by challengers Nairo Quintana (Col) Movistar Team and Vincenzo Nibali (Ita) Bahrain-Merida but rebounded and countered himself to remain 31s over Quintana with two more stages before the final time trial where he is sure to shine.
