April 09, 2016 (San Dimas, California) – Emily Batty (Can) Trek Factory Racing Team battled to second place on the final podium in the Women’s 7-lap race at USA Cycling’s US CUP #1 held at Bonelli Park where Eva Lechner (Ita) Luna Pro Team passed her near the end to take the win. Lechner’s teammate Katerina Nash (Cze) was third followed by another Luna rider Georgia Gould in 4th with Erin Huck (USA) Scott 3Rox in 5th. Four more Canucks made the top 20 including Haley Smith (Norco Factory Team) in 14th, Mikaela Kofman (Ridebiker/Liv) in 15th, Sandra Walter (Liv Cycling Canada) in 16th and Rebecca Beaumont (Cyclone D’Alma) in 17th.
