April 30, 2011 (Athens, Georgia) – Jet Fuel-La Bicicletta’s Ed Veal finished third in the Georgia Cycle Sport Twilight Grid Qualifiers on Friday that featured an eight-up CompuTrainer 10km TT race to create start positions for Saturday night’s Terrapin Twilight Men’s Pro-Am Criterium, part of the US Crits Speedweek, being held on April 30th.

The qualifying heats started at 10am in the morning with the finals held later in day. Veal completed the course in 7:28 at 473 average watts. His effort earned him a birth into the Grid finals at 9pm in front of thousands of spectators.
