Elite Women’s Results at UCI World Cup XC Nove Mesto – Batty 17th

May 20, 2017 (Nove Mesto, Czech Republic) – Emily Batty (Trek Factory Racing XC) led the Canadian Elite women at the opening round of the  UCI MTB XC World Cup in Nove Mesto (Czech Republic) finishing 17th. Annika Langvad (Den) Specialized Racing took a decisive win as Catharine Pendrel (Can) Clif Pro Team, who was in second place, suffered a dropped chain on the 2nd of five laps, then a flat in the next lap, and fell out of contention clawing back to 21st overall from the high 30s.
