May 27, 2017 (Albstadt, Germany) – Canada’s Peter Disera (Norco Factory Team XC) powered to 3rd on the podium in the U23 Men’s 6-lap race today at round #2 of the UCI MTB XC World Cup in Albstadt, Germany. Disera was in the top five for most of the race and the talented Ontario rider put the hammer down on the final lap to claim his first U23 men’s podium. Last weekend he turned heads finishing 8th at the opening round in Nove Mesto, CZE. Disera first gained prominence when he took home the silver at the Junior Worlds at Pietermaritzburg, South Africa back in 2013.
