UCI Track World Cup #1 Guadalajara – Team Pursuit/Sprint Qualifications + PHOTOS

November 07, 2014 (Guadalajara, Mexico) – Here are some results and photos from Friday’s Team Pursuit and Team Sprint Qualifications at the UCI Track Cycling World Cup #1 now underway in Guadalajara, Mexico. The Canadian Women’s Team Pursuit qualified third while the Men’s Team Pursuit finished 16th – the top eight teams advance to the first round.

Canada’s Kate O’Brien and Monique Sullivan finished 14th in the Women’s Team Sprint where Germany topped the field while the Canadian Men’s Team Sprint team of Hugo Barrette, Joseph Veloce and Evan Carey placed 16th. Both squads did not advance – see our report on who’s racing for Team Canada here.
