September 04, 2016 (Vallnord, Andorra) – Catherine Fleury, the lone Canadian at the U23 Women’s 21km finale in Andorra, finished 16th and 8th overall as Sina Frei (Sui) JB Brunex Felt Team took the win and the overall title. Fellow Canuck, Marc Andre Fortier, finished 19th in the 6-lap U23 Men’s race, 25.2km, to end up 44th overall while Peter Disera was the top Canadian in 35th. Titouan Carod (Fra) Scott Creuse Oxygene Gueret took the overall title.
