August 24, 2014 (Meribel, France) – The Elite Women’s race is now underway in sunny conditions at the final round in Meribel, France following a minute of silence to honour Annefleur Kalvenhaar (Focus XC Team). Jolanda Neff (Sui) Liv Pro has already clinched the overall title but there’s a tight battle for the remaining podium spots with Canada’s Catharine Pendrel (Luna) and Emily Batty (Trek Factory) in the mix battling with Tanja Zakelj (Slo) Unior and others for the final spots.
