June 03, 2012 (Val di Sole, Italy) – Aaron Gwin (USA) Trek World Racing was untouchable on Sunday in the Elite Men’s final as he bested his qualification run by 6s and kept his closest rival at bay by over 7s, as Greg Minnaar (RSA) Santa Cruz Syndicate was second followed by Gee Atherton (Gbr) GT Factory Racing in 3rd. Canada’s Steve Smith (Devinci Global Racing) put in a solid run for 10th place.
