June 04, 2017 (Fort William, Scotland) – Canada’s Vaea Verbeeck (Rocky Mountain) finished 11th in the Elite Women’s final today at Fort William, Scotland as Tracey Hannah (Aus) Polygon UR took the win – her first in five years – over Myriam Nicole (Fra) Commencal / Vallnord in second with Emilie Siegenthaler (Sui) Pivot Factory Racing in third.
Rachel Atherton (Gbr) Trek Factory Racing DH was sidelined with a dislocated shoulder following a crash in training that ended her record winning streak of 14 straight victories. Canada’s Miranda Miller (Specialized Gravity) did not race the final also suffering from an injury while training.Results
