June 04, 2017 (Fort William, Scotland) – Mark Wallace (Can) Canyon Factory Racing DH followed up his first podium at the opening round in France with a solid 12th place finish at round #2 of the 2017 UCI MTB World Cup series at Fort William, Scotland today.
Greg Minnaar (RSA) Santa Cruz Syndicate, the final rider and top qualifier, topped the field claiming his 7th win at Fort Bill for a record 20 World Cup victories. Jack Moir (Aus) Intense Factory Racing settled for second as Minnaar smashed his time by nearly three seconds while Aaron Gwin (USA) The YT Mob was third. Minnaar takes over the series lead as well.
