UCI MTB World Championships Junior/Elite Women and Men’s DH Final FULL Results

September 07, 2014 (Hafjell, Norway) – Reigning national champ Vaea Verbeeck was the top Canadian today finishing 6th in the Elite Women’s race as Manon Carpenter (Great Britain) added the rainbow jersey to her overall World Cup title. Fellow Canuck Mark Wallace placed 20th on the day for a solid finish as Gee Atherton (Great Britain) claimed the Elite men’s title. Jack Iles (Canada) was 14th following a crash in the Junior men’s DH race won by Loris Vergier (France) while Tegan Molloy (Australia) topped the Junior women’s field – no Canadians competed.
