July 03, 2011 (Mont Sainte-Anne, QC) – Anneke Beerten (Ned) Milka Trek MTB Racing Team claimed the Elite Women’s win in the Big Final on Saturday evening at Mont Sainte-Anne with Melissa Buhl (USA) KHS in second, Fionn Griffiths (Gbr) Team GR in third and Katy Curd (Gbr) finishing 4th. Canada’s Anne Laplante (Xprezo-Borsao) placed 7th overall.

In the men’s final it was no surprise seeing Jared Graves (Aus) Yeti Fox Shox Factory Race Team top the field in the Big Final with Roger Rinderknecht (Sui) in second Guido Tschugg (Ger) Ghost Factory Racing Team in third and Joost Wichman (Ned) RSP 4 Cross Racing Team ending up in 4th. Harold Woolnough was the top Canadian male finisher in 18th.
