September 04, 2016 (Vallnord, Andorra) – Canada’s Catharine Pendrel (Luna Pro Team) finished 3rd on the 25.2 km Elite Women’s podium at the final World Cup in Vallnord, Andorra to claim the overall series crown for the third time in her career.
Jolanda Neff (Sui) Stöckli Pro Team took the win with Gunn-Rita Dahle Flesjaa (Nor) Multivan Merida Biking Team second. Emily Batty (Can) Trek Factory Racing XC finished 12th on the day to take 3rd overall
