May 22, 2016 (Albstadt, GER) – Canada’s Catharine Pendrel (Luna Pro) raced to a stellar 3rd place in the Elite Women’s 28.8km race while Emily Batty (Can) Trek Factory Racing XC finished 12th as Annika Langvad (Den) Specialized Racing took her third consecutive World Cup victory at round #2 in Albstadt, GER.

Earlier this morning local time Samuel Gaze (Nzl) Specialized Racing won the U23 Men’s 28.8km race, which like the Elite women, featured a Start loop + 6 laps. Peter Disera (Can) Team Canada was the top Canuck in 39th.
