January 30, 2016 – The UCI has released the 2016-2017 Cyclocross World Cup schedule and a Canadian leg in Montreal is not listed but a second North American site is on the calendar as Iowa (USA) will now host a World Cup after Las Vegas. The Montreal venue was first announced in January 2015 but was cancelled in late June due to “logistic and financial challenges”. The 2018 world championships are slated for Valkenburg (Netherlands).
