UCI Announces Registration of WorldTour and Pro Continental Teams for 2015

December 05, 2014 – In accordance with UCI Regulations, and following a full review of all criteria for attribution (sporting, financial, administrative and ethical), the Licence Commission has decided to grant a UCI WorldTour licence to the following teams:

– BMC Racing Team (USA)
– Etixx–Quick Step (Bel)
– Fdj (Fra)
– Iam Cycling (Sui)
– Team Cannondale-Garmin (USA)
– Team Lotto Nl-Jumbo (Ned)
– Tinkoff-Saxo (Rus)
– Trek Factory Racing (USA)

Therefore the teams holding a UCI WorldTour licence for 2015 are the following:

– Ag2R La Mondiale (Fra)
– BMC Racing Team (USA)
– Etixx–Quick Step (Bel)
– Fdj (Fra)
– Iam Cycling (Sui)
– Lampre–Merida (Ita)
– Lotto Soudal (Bel)
– Movistar Team (Esp)
– Orica Greenedge (Aus)
– Team Cannondale-Garmin (USA)
– Team Giant-Alpecin (Ger)
– Team Katusha (Rus)
– Team Lotto Nl-Jumbo (Ned)
– Team Sky (Gbr)
– Tinkoff-Saxo (Rus)
– Trek Factory Racing (USA)

The following teams are still under review of the Licence Commission:

Astana Pro Team (Kaz) Team Europcar (Fra)

With regards to those two teams, the Licence Commission shall render its decision by the 10th of December at the latest. Further communication will be made afterwards.

In November 2014, the UCI registered as UCI Professional Continental Teams the candidate teams whose application file met the registration conditions set out in UCI Regulations:

– Androni Giocattoli (Ita)
– Bardiani Csf (Ita)
– Bora-Argon 18 (Ger)
– Bretagne-Seche Environnement (Fra)
– Caja Rural-Seguros Rga (Esp)
– Ccc Sprandi Polkowice (Pol)
– Cofidis, Solutions Crédits (Fra)
– Colombia (Col)
– Drapac Professional Cycling (Aus)
– Mtn-Qhubeka (Rsa)
– Nippo-Vini Fantini (Ita)
– Team Roompot (Ned)
– Rusvelo (Rus)
– Team Novo Nordisk (USA)
– Topsport Vlaanderen-Baloise (Bel)
– Unitedhealthcare Professional Cycling Team (USA)
– Wanty-Groupe Gobert (Bel)

The following teams are still under review of the Licence Commission:

– Cult Energy Pro Cycling (Den)
– Yellow Fluo (Ita)

With regards to those two teams, the Licence Commission shall render its decision by the 10th of December at the latest. Further communication will be made afterwards.
