September 13, 2007 – The International Cycling Union (UCI) today published a new anti-doping section on its website. In this section it is possible to consult the list of anti-doping rules and violations recognized by the UCI, as well as the sanctions imposed on the riders that have committed them.
Another new element is the list of riders who must provide the UCI with accurate information concerning their whereabouts so that it can proceed with unannounced out-of-competition testing. Statistics of planned and accomplished activities (number of tests) is also available.
The new anti-doping section of the UCI website also contains documents aimed at riders: forms, questionnaires and other useful information, as well as an up-to-date version of the anti-doping rules and the list of prohibited substances and methods.
