Tour of University Heights – Ontario Youth Series

September 25, 2007 – Here’s some info on the Tour of University Heights, Ontario Youth Series, presented by the Ontario Cycling Association on Saturday, Sept 29 – Road Race and Time Trial – for Boys & Girls 10-16 years (as of Dec 31, 2007).

This race is strictly for the kids and is sanctioned by the Ontario Cycling Association.

Cadet – 15-16 years (1991-1992)
– TT 4 km – Start 12:45 pm
– RR 30.4 km (16 laps) – Start 2:30pm

Cadet-Girls – 15-16 years (1991-1992)
– TT 4 km – Start 12:45 pm
– RR 30.4 km (16 laps) – Start 2:31pm

Minime – 13-14 years (1993-1994)
– TT 4 km – Start 12:45 pm
– RR 22.8 km (12 laps) – Start 2:33pm

Minime-Girls – 13-14 years (1993-1994)
– TT 4 km – Start 12:45 pm
– RR 22.8 KMS (12 laps) – Start 2:34 pm

Peewee – 11-12 years (1995-1996)
– TT 2.1 km – Start 12:45 pm
– RR 11.4 km (6 laps) – Start 1:30 pm

Squirt – 10 (1997)

* TT start is 12:45pm — 2.1 km riders start first, followed by 4.0 km riders

Closes Friday at noon.
Register at www.ontariocycling.org – Event Registration Button on the Home page.
Pickup your registration package at the Driftwood Community Centre from 11:00am till 12:30.

**minimum 30 pre-registered riders required for draw
*** Aero bars are not permitted for Time Trial

Awards go to general classification winner (results of TT and road race are combined).
Ties will be broken by higher finish in road race.
Points are awarded to the top 15 finishers:
25,20,16,13,11,10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1

Don’t miss one of the biggest races of the year!
Mountain bikes are allowed!
