September 8, 2005 – Fassa’s Alessandro Petacchi has taken today’s 12th stage of the Tour of Spain, a 133km ride from Logroño to Burgos. Canada’s Michael Barry rode solid once again and is poised to help his teammate Tom Danielson (Discovery) in the crucial final week of the Vuelta.
