Tour of Poland Stage 1 – Martinelli Wins, Canada’s Woods Back in Action

July 12, 2016 (Warszawa, POL ) – Davide Martinelli (Ita) Etixx – Quick-Step took the opening 138km Stage 1 from Radzymin to Warszawa, as the Tour of Poland got underway. Hugo Houle (Can) AG2R La Mondiale led the Canucks finishing 41st on the stage. Michael Woods (Can) Cannondale-Drapac is back in action at his first WorldTour competition since crashing at Liège-Bastogne-Liège in April and breaking his hand. Woods raced the TT at the Canadian Road Nationals finishing 14th in Ottawa, his hometown, which was his first official re-entry into competition – read our interview with him here.
