February 15, 2011 – Theo Bos (Ned) Rabobank Cycling Team won the opening Stage 1 from al Sawadi to al Seeb, 158km, as the Tour of Oman got underway today and runs from February 15-20. Mark Cavendish (Gbr) HTC-Highroad finished in second and Roger Kluge (Ger) Skil – Shimano was third on the podium. Canada’s Dominique Rollin (FDJ) finished 19th in the lead pack.
