April 23, 2009 (Kuantan, Malaysia) – We’ve just heard again from Val Burke, an endurance coach in New Zealand that Canada’s Will Routley (Jelly Belly Cycling Team) has moved into 8th place overall following Stage 5 from Kuala Terengganu to Kuantan, 204.8 km where Routley placed 20th. Burke writes in her email, “Another long flat stage tomorrow, then a decent hill climb finish on stage 7 where the climbers can show their stuff.”
